PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Product highlights

01

Italian design for examination spaces

RIMSA describes in-house design and production in Italy. Match the arm and base to the examination position, bedside space and movement within the room.

02

PRIMA: focused and ambient illumination

PRIMA FIX and FLEX deliver 115,000 lux at 0.5 m, with six brightness levels and a C button for ambient light. The flat round lamp head measures 195 mm.

03

Choose FIX or FLEX arms

FIX uses a three-joint swivel arm; FLEX uses a flexible arm for positioning. FIX does not mean wall mounting only.

04

ALFA: compact 95 mm light head

Three independent LED sources with lenses and protective glass. Output is 70,000 lux at 0.5 m, dimmable from 4–100%, in a compact head for examination spaces.

05

L88 LED TW: illuminated magnification

A 120 mm optical-glass biconvex lens provides 3 dioptres; 5 dioptres is available on request. The Tunable White version adjusts colour temperature from 2,700–6,000 K while switched off.

06

Specify the mounting configuration

Options include S11 table clamp, S12MED wall clamp, Z400819 rail clamp and model-specific mobile bases. Specify battery requirements; a battery is not automatically included in every set.

Reconcile source differences

ALFA web pages list a 130 mm field, while catalogue page 22 lists 140 mm. L88 website prose mentions 4–100% dimming, while the website table and catalogue page 23 list 5–100%. This page uses 5–100% and flags discrepancies for confirmation.

Documentation and supply scope

Compiled from RIMSA model pages and Medical Catalogue Rev. January 2026. Read illuminance together with measurement distance. Mounts, cameras, batteries and accessories depend on the ordered configuration. Confirm the exact model and supply scope in the quotation. LED life is not a warranty period.

How do PRIMA FIX and FLEX differ?

Both list 115,000 lux at 0.5 m. FIX uses a three-joint swivel arm; FLEX uses a flexible arm.

Which examination model has a magnifying lens?

L88 LED TW has a 120 mm optical-glass lens: 3 dioptres, or 5 dioptres on request. PRIMA and ALFA do not list the same magnifying lens.

Are bases and batteries included in every set?

Do not assume they are included. Specify mounting and confirm the quotation supply scope.

Why can PRIMA show more lux than some surgical models?
